Tier One Sports of the Republic

With many fans around the Republic, there are many teams playing many sports. The Republic has three major leagues however that are most popular of all. They consist of Imperial Football, Ice Hockey, and Football.

The Royal Hockey League

The most popular sport in the Republic is ice hockey. Forming in the 1920s, The Royal Hockey League was a major hit. With start up costs funded by the Emperors family (hence the name) the league was able to start with six teams. There are now thirty teams spread around the republic.

The Imperial Football League

The second most popular sport is Imperial Football. Starting out as a college club league with four teams, the sport slowly became more popular and franchises starting around the Republic. Every year the teams for the Imperial Bowl, who will win it next?

The Republican Soccer League

Gaining tier one status only a few years ago, The Republican Soccer League broke the Tier one wall and becomes only one of few leagues ever to climb from tier three to become a major league in the country. With forty teams throughout the Republic, one team must be near you.

The Imperial University Sports Association

Though some may keep universities for learning only, many students also participate with athletics clubs during their education. The Imperial University Sports Association (IUSA) regulates the sports and decides all regulations students must keep in order to be eligible to play because, "School comes first but sports is a close second". The two major sports of the IUSA are hockey and Imperial Football.
