News Article Writer

The GER Assc. is looking for a volunteer part-time news article writer. The news writer's job will be to write articles about the GER from their own ideas or ideas from GER Association Members to be able to post on the GER website.  The news writer can create as many or as little articles as they please while at least writing a few articles every couple months. The articles will be read by Assc. members before posting.

Responsibilities

• Write news articles under the "Imperial News Network" and various newspaper brands.

• Take ideas from the President to write short articles.

• Attend GER Association Meetings and share ideas regarding your work.

• Write At least one article a month, as short or as long as needed.

• Research GER Documents if needed to complete your article

• Write GER Realistic articles, no fantasy.

Qualifications

• Can write in a professional fashion.

• Can use google docs.

• Must know how to use your imagination.

• Have prior paper writing experience.

• Be able to join the GER Assc.

Sports Manager - *Multiple Positions Available

The GER Assc. is looking for a volunteer part-time sports manager. The sports managers main job is to create stats and update sports information throughout the sports season to be able to post on the website. The sports manager will update sport point tables from games in their sport. The sports manager should have knowledge of how the sport they focus on operates to create realistic matches and stats. The sports manager will work with the GER Assc. to make their projects as realistic as possible. The manager will choose one of the following sports to specialize in

• American Football (The Imperial Football League)

• Ice Hockey (The Royal Hockey League)

• European Football (The Republican Soccer League)

• College Sports (American football and/or Ice Hockey)

Responsibilities

• Create tournaments and matches for their sport.

• Work with a news writer to write articles about major sport games/tournaments.

• Respect GER Assc. Sport specific teams and rules.

• Work with the GER Assc. President to keep the sport stats as realistic as possible.

• Take criticism well. (No rude criticism will be given, ever)

• Report and share projects at GER Assc. Meeetings

• Take existing league information and create fun events and sport ideas with it. :)

Qualifications

• Can write in a professional fashion.

• Can use the google drive suite.

• Must know how to use your imagination.

• Have a strong knowledge of the sport you choose to help.

• Be eligable to join the GER Assc.
